I’ve created style for my title pages, it can be seen as ‘ЕСПД тит. страница’ 
in the style menu on the screenshot. These pages can be as right as left, so I
don’t see any problem with that. I don’t understand why writer needs to put
additional blank pages, that only mess the page count.

In the Format menu > Title page format I’ve chosen to convert two existing
pages to title pages. And it seems that it
- doesn’t allow me to choose the style for the First page I want to set;
- sets it exactly for two pages including the blank one at the very beginning.

I simply can’t use the Page Count filed because it shows meaningless stuff.
