Now, whenever I open up a document, on either the external low res monitor or the retina screen on my macbook, and whether the finder is on either monitor, it is displayed with fuzzy text. I can move it around between windows and no change. If I disconnect my external monitor, the document opens correctly on my macbook. When I plug the monitor back in again, sometimes it will be fine, but sometimes it won't be. If it is fine, and I move the document around on the macbook screen, it might suddenly revert to the fuzzy text. So, all rather weird. Any idea about a possible solution? Currently at home, and not having same problem, but problem arises on work monitor. Assume it is the same issue as identified by Iandol. I've tried using the default HiDPI mode (1440 x 900) and my preferred HiDPI mode (1920 x 1200).
