But then I tried to install the 5.0 version downloaded also from the official website, it has installed alongside both previous versions. System: Ubuntu 14.04.4 Packages type: deb Installed by following the instructions in ReadMe (sudo dpkg -i *.deb) Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have LibreOffice 4.4 installed 2. download LibreOffice 5.0.4.2 from http://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/?type=deb-x86&version=5.0&lang=en-US 3. untar DEBS folder anywhere you want 4. reach the unpacked DEBS folder with Terminal 5. run {sudo dpkg -i *.deb} and wait for the end of installation 6. open "Applications" menu -> "Office" Actual Results: 1. There are several versions of LibreOffice installed. 2. Panel links to the LO applications created while using previous versions still run previous versions. Expected Results: 1. Only LibreOffice 5.0 is installed. 2. Old shortcuts to the program run new version.
