I cleaned up some recent files that were after the pinned files. Scroll bar disappeared and none of the files from 9 on are visible. The problem appears to be caused by opening a miscellaneous file, deciding it's rubbish and deleting it. I have to open the File menu to access the files that still exist. How about a Right Mouse to remove files after deletion. Or how about a background task to clean up the recent list. This problem is ALL TOO TYPICAL of recent LO upgrades. Perfectly good functionality is 'enhanced' willy-nilly and BROKEN! Does anyone write a specification or are these brilliant improvements just added ad hoc? I was wrong about 7.5.7 having the smaller, all same size icons. I had downloaded, but not installed 7.5.7 to my desktop My laptop has 7.4.7 installed. I can see 25 almost-same-sized documents in the window 25 >> 14 and is much preferred.
