Without a crash report nor reliable steps for even the reporter to reproduce, I
think we should close as "insufficient data".

However, if you identify steps that reproduce the issue, or if you are able to
provide some kind of crash report or backtrace, please share that information
and set the status back to "Unconfirmed".

Please also share here the full info copied from Help > About LibreOffice, and
some extra details about your system (OS version, desktop environment used).

I just attempted to change my font to Liberation Serif then to Times New Roman
and back, the program didn't crash. I forgot to mention earlier that after the
original crash and I reopened the recovered document, the font had been
successfully changed to TNR despite the crash. That may mean the program
crashed from something else, though I'm not sure. I'm not sure if LibreOffice
left a crash dump on my system somewhere; I'm not sure where to find it if it
exists.

And no other font causes the crash for you? Do you still reproduce reliably
with TNR in your file?

The font I switched to was Times New Roman, though it was not a pre-installed
font on my system, I downloaded and installed it as a TTF file.

Using the attachment and changing the font for the whole document to Andale
Mono or DejaVu Sans, with Calc opened in the background, I could not reproduce
either on Linux:

Version: 24.8.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 0f794b6e29741098670a3b95d60478a65d05ef13

Locale: en-AU (en_AU.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: CL threaded

It might help if you remember which font you changed to.

Hmm, not sure then. Either it's a Linux thing, or it was a one-off crash, or it
was caused by something besides the font changing. I'm an end user with no
coding experience so I'm not sure where to begin on this.
