            Bug ID: 103196
Summary: Can't change custom colour to diagram bar/sector
                    without changing default palette
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.2.2.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Chart
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: carlos.cam...@gmail.com

Description:
Although previous versions of libreoffice allowed changing Data series' colours
(eg:
https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/57700/how-to-change-diagram-colours-in-calc/),
I found out that the only way to change a data series colour in a bar/sector is
by changing default colours in "Options/Diagrams/Predefined colours" dialog
box. Additionally, changes on Data series colours on that dialog do not take
effect after applying. Instead you have to edit the diagram, make some changes
and then colours will update.

I find this behaviour quite abnormal, not user friendly at all, tedious or
simply overkill, as those changes will apply for all new diagrams. Should we
need to change a colour

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Double click on a diagram
2. Click on a data series (either bar or sector)
3. Right click and select Format Data Series
4. Click on Area tab
5. Select a different colour
6. Click Apply button

(Labels may change as I am using a localized version)

Actual Results:
Data series' colours simply ignore any changes made in data format, even though
changes are saved.

Expected Results:
Data series' colours should be updated with the right colour.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
The only way I have found to change actual colours is by visiting
"Options\Diagrams\Default Colours" and change default colour palette. Changes
are only applied in future diagrams or when making some type of change on
existing ones, though.
