Dear Dr. Matthias Weisser,

To make sure we're focusing on the bugs that affect our users today,
LibreOffice QA is asking bug reporters and confirmers to retest open, confirmed
bugs which have not been touched for over a year.

There have been thousands of bug fixes and commits since anyone checked on this
bug report. During that time, it's possible that the bug has been fixed, or the
details of the problem have changed. We'd really appreciate your help in
getting confirmation that the bug is still present.

If you have time, please do the following:

Test to see if the bug is still present with the latest version of LibreOffice
from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/

If the bug is present, please leave a comment that includes the information
from Help - About LibreOffice.

If the bug is NOT present, please set the bug's Status field to
RESOLVED-WORKSFORME and leave a comment that includes the information from Help
- About LibreOffice.

Please DO NOT

Update the version field
Reply via email (please reply directly on the bug tracker)
Set the bug's Status field to RESOLVED - FIXED (this status has a particular
meaning that is not 
appropriate in this case)


If you want to do more to help you can test to see if your issue is a
REGRESSION. To do so:
1. Download and install oldest version of LibreOffice (usually 3.3 unless your
bug pertains to a feature added after 3.3) from
https://downloadarchive.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/old/

2. Test your bug
3. Leave a comment with your results.
4a. If the bug was present with 3.3 - set version to 'inherited from OOo';
4b. If the bug was not present in 3.3 - add 'regression' to keyword

the test file shows that the second picture does not fill the whole page. Using
the mouse on the right bottom corner of the picture the picture cannot be made
big enough to fill the page. 

Using double click on the picture in "Zuschneiden" there is shown "Skalierung"
94%.

When typing in 100% the picture is really getting bigger. 

Using the mouse again on the right bottom together with the left mouse button
the picture does not stay at 100% but jumps back in size to 94%. Again - no
chance getting it bigger again using the mouse.

Clearly this is unintended behaviour and I really hope that this very old
problem will be fixed now in the near future.

test file showing zoom problem when using mouse

the test file can use a picture in an extra folder BILDER, but also without
those 2 pictures the problem can be seen.

Unfortunately the same problem still is there in LO7.0.0.1 under Win 7
professional 64bit. See the test file.

Yes - I retested using the quite new LO version 6.1.3.2.

Opening the test file and clicking on the first picture the picture goes
smaller. As "Skalierung" then "Breite" 117% to "Höhe" 108% is shown. It is
still not possible making this again bigger using the mouse. 

Also the second picture can be made smaller by using the mouse - but it cannot
be made the same size as before using the mouse. 

So unfortunately the problem is still there.

as can be seen the pictures are both filling the height of the page quite well.
Using the mouse the pictures can be made smaller but not as big again as they
were before. The get this the menu "Skalierung" has to be used and new numbers
have to be filled in the fields "Breite" and "Höhe". This is possible but a bit
time consuming when compared to the mouse method which unfortunately does not
work here.
