[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 119594] Implement "Most recent fields inserted"
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119594 Thomas Lendo changed: What|Removed |Added CC||thomas.le...@gmail.com Blocks||85811 --- Comment #2 from Thomas Lendo --- Heiko is right, the dialog window is modal. Does this help? The suggestion to use copy/paste only works if the user doesn't copy another content between field inserted actions. So the usefulness is limited. I love the idea of a 'last used field' item in the fields sub-menu. For me a single item is enough, which could be introduced as new UNO command to that the user can assign a shortcut key or an icon via Customize dialog. With that the user has not to go through the menu. You can copy/paste fields. And the Insert Field dialog is amodal so you can keep it open while editing the document. > I'd like to propose a sub menu in the Fields menu or Fields Icon to list the > 5 recently used fields, in a similar way as the "recent documents" in the > File menu. Makes sense, though we have means to deal with the situation.
