[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126969] Assign CSV Files with iOS app
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126969 Tor Lillqvist changed: What|Removed |Added Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |INSUFFICIENTDATA --- Comment #8 from Tor Lillqvist --- I think the bug can be resolved as "INSUFFICIENTDATA" for instance. Why .csv files now work is a bit of a mystery, but let's just be glad that they do;) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126969] Assign CSV Files with iOS app
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126969 --- Comment #6 from Tor Lillqvist --- No, wait, ignore my previous comment. I tried myself yesterday to create a file that *is* called .csv, and yes, it shows up and can be opened in the Collabora Office app. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126969] Assign CSV Files with iOS app
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126969 --- Comment #5 from Tor Lillqvist --- How did you create the .csv file, and are you sure its file name extension actually is .csv, and that its contents is CSV? Maybe, if you created it in some other app that can export for instance .xls files, the file name is actually foo.csv.xls, but the iOS Files app and the document browser in the Collabora Office app doesn't show the .xls extension? Try copying the file to iCloud Drive and check on a Mac what the file actually is called. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126969] Assign CSV Files with iOS app
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126969 --- Comment #4 from Tor Lillqvist --- In iOS 12 you could not open .csv files, right? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126969] Assign CSV Files with iOS app
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126969 --- Comment #3 from Tor Lillqvist --- Is there some mysterious undocumented heuristic in iOS so that if an app claims to handle .xls, it will be assumed that it can handle .csv, too, for instance? Sigh. This doesn't really make it easier to understand how exactly the file type association stuff works in iOS. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126969] Assign CSV Files with iOS app
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126969 --- Comment #2 from Tor Lillqvist --- Hmm, we don't mention the csv file type in the app's Info.plist file, so I actually am a bit surprised that it is possible to open a .csv file, that it isn't "greyed out" by the document browser API. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 126969] Assign CSV Files with iOS app
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126969 --- Comment #1 from Nicolas Christener --- I can (now) open a CSV file in Calc in iOS. I think we can close this issue.
