So the font size defines how large the dash become, which makes sense. Direct formatting is kept until you change it back. Also expected, for example if you make something bold or smaller you want this formatting to remain. So my take => NAB. This behavior wouldn't surprise me, but in Impress is different from Writer. So I'll tentatively put New, unless UX changes it.
