I actually posted an idea here earlier this year about simplifying the
toolbars quite a bit

. The crowding of the standard toolbar makes LibreOffice as a whole look
difficult and ugly, and even breaks some of our design principles.
(minimalism, visual-hierarchy) Here's the setup I use:

it would be nicer if we were able to add more functionality to each
individual button.
