If users understand what these characters are, they can use advanced search and

Agree with Khaled as to the impact on text runs of the multitude of scripts
that might be in use. Stripping NPC from text runs does not make sense.

Removing ZWNJ from Persian text alters its meaning, removing ZWJ from Emoji
