In my opinion "properties" should be ever a first level entry. Only if most of
the properties are direct visible in the sidebar, we can use a lower level of
menu-entry.

Properties are still in the main menu under Format > Frame and Object. Resolves
as WORKSFORME, and you?
Btw, "Object..." is not a good menu entry. Better use "Properties".
