Once bug 123789 is implemented we should add the Filled and Outlined styles.
Removing needsUX.

yes styles support for shapes would be awesome, but

first there are no commands available isn't it? (codepointer) and

second the main issue is that you can't use predefined styles for shapes, or at
least it would be way more usefull to have in the context menu the most used
shape styles from the document.

If we dont have shape styles in Writer and Calc, how are we supposed to add
more style entries to their shape context menus?

:D
OK, I mean that also for a cell style and a paragraph style there is the
opportunity to update or create new from selection.

Why do you explicitly mention shapes? The situation is the same for all
 styles in all modules?
So I tend to say yes.. let's have a look at the design in all cases?

In the design meeting, we were discussing the connection between the line and
filling toolbar and the shapes toolbar in impress and how it wasnt easy to
create a style from the direct formatting added to the shape. Other modules
dont have shape styles from what i've seen.

Yes, I use it regularly. But also in Writer I use the same possibility in
Writer and Calc too.

Other modules dont have shape styles from what i've seen.

Is it? What a shame ;)

Why add it in Draw/Impress and not in Writer and Calc?
