I've updated Kaffe [1] CVS head to libtool 1.5.16 and noticed that it
broke make distcheck of Kaffe by installing and leaving libltdl files
around in $prefix/share/libtool, which 1.5.14 didn't do.

We advertise Autoconf-2.50 and Automake-1.4 compatibility within
branch-1-5. branch-2-0 does not do that any more, neither has it (most
of) your warnings. IIRC there was only one left and it could only be
solved with CVS autoconf, not sure ATM.
