an awful lot of packages being transfered during the
startup process, i've attached the output if anyone's

I just wanted to notice, Character Encoding for german "Umlaute" does still
not work. It is nothing I can't live with for some time, but I think, you
want that fixed too.

hmm ... I never had any troubles with that ... just set the character
encoding (in licq) to "none" and you should be fine.

When you send a message when there isn't a connection to the internet, no
message is shown to say it couldn't deliver the message. Maybe is more user
friendly to retry sending the message automatically during a few seconds (or
up to one minute
