Folks, I'm pleased to announce the second Scala Lift Off user conference to be held in San Francisco on Saturday June 6th (the day after JavaOne.)
The Scala Lift Off is the open spaces user conference for people interested in the Scala programming language and the Lift web framework. Last year, more than 80 Scala and Lift enthusiasts gathered at the Scala Lift Off. Martin Odersky, father of Scala, gave the keynote. Kaliya Hamlin facilitated the unconference. We're expecting even more people this year. Martin will be on hand as will many of the authors of the upcoming Scala and Lift books. Admission is $200 per person and includes hot and cold running food and beverages. If you're a full time student or faculty member, the cost is $50 (please contact me privately for a discount code.) If you use the discount code 14GDHUIF before Friday and are one of the first 20 people to use the discount code, you'll save $50. Looking forward to seeing you and hearing what you have to say about Scala and Lift.
