I'm experiencing the same problem, using the last(i believe) msysgit
version:
$ git --version
git version 1.6.0.2.1172.ga5ed0
[EMAIL PROTECTED] /d/langs/scala/projects/liftgit
$ git clone http://github.com/dpp/liftweb.git
Initialized empty Git repository in d:/langs/scala/projects/liftgit/
liftw
I just downloaded version 1.5.6.1 from the same site and this is the
error I got this time:
