As the ecosystem scales systems and processes should be constantly evolving and
improving and to me if anything Core's seem to be going backwards.

transferred to an attacker or worse collected through gaming the system, ouch.
The protocol developer has taken a problem (jamming attacks) that already
exists and added an additional problem (reputation) which no doubt wi
ver part of the protocol, is used by all of the major Lightning
implementations, is on by default in all those Lightning implementations etc.
And even if it was I would want to opt out of it.
