I'm not finding evidence of segwit in btcd, yet choice of golang is
appealing to me. Can one run lnd on bitcoind?
More generally speaking, is there a plan for the layer 2 / layer 1 protocol
binding to be abstracted away from the implementation on either side, via
SPI or such?
