fontshapes in lyrics

Hello, I would like to use different fontshapes in lyrics. Within one line I require regular, bold and italics/slanted to select the group singing. Looking at the .tex file it looks like this cannot be accomplished easily. Writing a perl script to add fontselectors is not my first option.

How to I attach text markup to long multi-measure rests? I've looked at multi-measure-rest-text.ly, but it only contains examples for *single-measure* multi-measure rests. I want to do something like this: \property Score.skipBars = ##t R2.*20_Tacet Perhaps something like that

Yes, I'm aware of that workaround. I'm trying to use it now, but the results are rather less-than-satisfactory. Including a time on the 's' separates the measure with the textscript from the rest of the multi-measure rest. R1*18 s1_Allegro Omitting the time on the 's' makes the
