using OpenOfficeorg 2.0 with OOoLilyPond I get the following message:
LilyPond: unrecognized option -b
and nothing else.
Anything I can do about this?

In contrast to the rest of LilyPond, the MIDI output support is fairly
rudimentary and also above all, most of the aspects of how the MIDI
file is generated is hard-coded into the program, so if you want to
do this change, you would have to modify some of the C++ code.
However, there are several
in version 2.9.19 the problem I mentionned in an early post regarding ties
(ver. 2.9.16) seems to be resolved

THANK YOU!! I looked through the NEWS doc and found the \tweak function, which,
as shown in the example, allows you to TWEAK (!) the note IN A CHORD structure.

different. Try to run LilyPond directly on the template to see weather
there is a problem with your LilyPond installation.
$ lilypond -b
It appears that the first-page-number property is not working, here is an
example: Note that the first page number in the odd/even mirrored footers
always comes out as 1, even with setting first-page-number to 4. (v2.9.18)
