this is a very strange error; I'm also missing which symbol isn't found. Can you run the actual binary from a terminal, and send me the output? The binary is in lilypond.app/contents/resource/bin/lilypond Sorry this has taken so long, I've been occupied with some other problems with xorg on

Hello! I use lilypond 2.10.5 since I adopted Ubuntu. I have a little problem concerning the fonction between-system-space. When I put a number, it affects every page except the first one. This problem was not there with lilypond 2.8.8, that I used under Windows. How to correct the problem?

The note heads are not typeset by the RhythmicStaff itself, but by an (implicitly created) Voice context within the RhythmicStaff, so the completion heads engraver should be added to that Voice context to make it work correctly: \new RhythmicStaff { \new Voice \with { \remove

As far as I know, there is no automatic support in LilyPond for the moment. What you can do is to manually insert a line break, so you have control over where the line starts, and then use the \quoteDuring feature to include the music from voice_a until the music in voice_b starts. /Mats

I don't understand how you can read your .ly files if you don't include any line breaks, like that. Here's a version of your code that works somewhat better, at least when there is a rest also in the first voice: \version 2.11.14 \paper{ #(set-default-paper-size a4) top-margin = 0\cm

We have fixed over a hundred bugs since 2.10.5, including many that affect the spacing system. I highly recommend that you upgrade to the latest version, 2.10.27, and see if that helps. If it doesn't help, see our bug page: http://lilypond.org/web/devel/participating/bugs Cheers, - Graham
