Can't you just
1. install version 2.12.whatever
2. rename lilypond dir accordingly

I hardly ever use the search function for LSR.
Some time ago I stumbled upon it while browsing snippets and regoogled it
now with smart transpose LSR. Using Google's indexing seems to work a
lot faster than LSR search.

Hi all,
maybe a stupid question:
I have two score blocks and don't want the opus to be printed when the
second score starts. Follwing the fine manual I tried
\score {
...
\header {
piece = ##f
opus = ##f
}
}
which didn't work as (I) expected.
I really don't dare to present my workaround ...

Hello,
I am struggling to understand why the following example
%%
\version 2.13.21
trumpetcue = \relative c'' { a''4 a a a | e, e e e | c d e f | g f e d}
\relative c''{
ees, f g a
\addQuote trump { \trumpetcue }
\new Voice {
\cueDuring #trump #UP { R1 | g2 g | e4 f8 g a b c d }
Starts the cued notes on the full bar rest of the main music, at the
second bar of the defined cue notes?
Hi James,
think of the cue voice as a complete voice which is quoted when you
refer to it, so bar 2 of your main voice is bar 2 of your cue voice.
As you wrote one bar before you started
Bernhard.
Yes that does help.
Thank you very much.

Hello,
Thinking about this more, does that mean there is no really easy way to insert
cue notes a dozen bars in without, for example, having something like
trumpetcue = \relative c'' { R1*12 | a a a a | e e e e | }
before hand if you see what I mean?

Hi all,
I have to move the instrumentCueName and I'm lost:
I tried something like
\once \override InstrumentSwitch #'Y-offset = #-3
but there is too much I do NOT know, like:
* which layout object should I address
* where should I put the override
* which syntax

In single staff polyphony I often need to shorten the stems on beamed
notes to avoid notes in another voice. The tuplet bracket and number
automatically move to be in the correct position except when a tuplet
begins with a rest, in which case the tuplet bracket and number have to
be manually

Maybe it can, but not on Windows XP as James asked. It depends on KDE
modules that are unfortunately not yet ported to Windows.
