Hi all, I'm a beginner in the use of LP; I usually make a score with MuseScore, then I export it to an .xml file and use musicxml2ly to get a .ly file and launch it on UbuntuStudio to call Frescobaldi, to have a better output. The problems that I encounter are often due to the fact that I'm not

Ah yes, I thought so - after hitting send. But you should be able to define a music function that simply prints the music it is passed. Use parameters for the two pitches and ignore them. Can't try out because I'm on the phone, but you should be able to go that way. HTH Urs Joseph Rushton

Any org-babel-lilypond users out there? I've just managed successfully to get lilypond to compile a png from an org source block and include it in a beamer frame. However, lilypond is generating a full-size A4 page, but these are very short examples and I'd like them to be trimmed

Yes, using the Macports package distribution system. Perhaps could you send me his mail in order to make step by step instructions. The instructions posted on Frescoabaldi website are OK with some command line knowledge. Macport isn't completely easy, but is more straightforward once installed.
