Hi all,
Peter Bjuhr and I have been working on a new tool for Frescobaldi that I
have wanted to have for quite some time now. It's only the first step of
what it may become, but Peter was perfectly right by triggering actual
work with saying something is better than nothing. I think the

For the few testing I made, it's what I was looking for :-) I would like a
larger screen to put the preview and the manuscript side by side ;-) but in
the meantime, I'll place them one above the other

Hi Bruno,
to avoid creating a new markup from scratch you can use LSR snippet no.

I use Lilypond to produce lead sheets for jazz players, which conventionally
have four bars per line and are adjusted in size to fit on a single page.
It’s simple enough to use…

Hi Michael,
I use LP mainly for the same as you, so I know the problem. Right now, I'm not
at my computer, so I can't give you proper code, nor can I test if this would
really solve the problem, but I've recently found the settings of
systems-per-page that can be set in the \paper block.

I have another request for testing some new features in Frescobaldi:
improved options for copying/exporting colored source code. These are

Hi Henning,
these would make nice chapters in the book.
However, at the moment I've already had to interrupt thinking about the
book as I'll only continue with that once my server transfer has fully
been completed.

Hi Urs,
I and some of my friends working with LilyPond mostly produce lead sheets for
folk/scout/pop songs and some simple choir scores.
For beginners it’s a challenge to get scores with chord names and lyrics, plus
additional verses at the end.
I’ll gladly provide my template that also shows
Hi list,
for strange reasons, I have to color complete lines in different colors.
I found http://lsr.di.unimi.it/LSR/Item?id=443 which works
great for complete scores, but if I call \applyContext ...
after a line break, the color of the Staff lines does not change.

Sounds a good idea, I will try to test it tonight.
Thanks
