Hi Jon,
I am not sure that I understand you correctly. Do you know that you can
align the lyrics to a voice? Then you don't have to specify the timing
in the lyrics at all (but in the notes of course):
\version "2.18.2"
<<
\new Voice = "myvoice" \relative { a' b c d }
\new Lyrics \lyricsto

I can see no problem with the script as far as it's gone & neither,

Thanks for the fix, but I think I'll wait for the next release.

Not entirely sure what you mean, but is it this?

Hi,
One of the things that attracts me to Lilypond is that I can scale the
level of detail to what I need.
Now, sometimes what I need, especially in a first iteration, is a quick
chord chart with lyrics.
Looking at the documentation though, it looks like I have to give full
timing information

Hi list,

that, the musician has to turn the page upside down and play the

Which explains my occasional :-) moans on this list about trying to get
rid of wasted space and pack everything in on one page with lilypond.
When I adjust my score's size with #(layout-set-staff-size N) and the
score has a tempo with a metronome mark, the metronome mark's stem gets
longer if the size is smaller, and shorter if the size is larger. There
should be examples attached at sizes 20 and 12 to show you.
The question is,

No. I thought I had tried it with after-line-breaking first without
success but maybe I made another mistake.
