Hello Urs and all,
Following your excellent instructions on the dependenicies, always
difficult to work out, especially when detail is missing, I am immediately
presented with the same old core dump on startup, as per usual. I am using
Ubuntu 17.10, kernel 4.13.0-21-generic (not that the kernel

I for some reason thought I was using 2.whatever frescobaldi on Ubuntu 17.10
but it is in fact 3.0. I remember it crashing iniitially but after throwing the
error into google there was some reasonably simple fix, but going through the
terminal history hasn't revealed what it was.

Hi,
I'm a little bit frustrated for I tried to figure this simple-seaming
issue out on my own but didn't manage it.
I'd like to define an extra dynamic sign that's smaller than the
original one.
First surprise:
I thought to use a definition like this
ep=\markup { \dynamic {p}}
as a base for

Thanks, Jan-Peter. This works well, except that partial-complication
relied on the break sets defined with page-layout.conditional-breaks. Do
you know if it is possible for

Greetings everyone,
While trying to further progress in lilypond usage I have found
another puzzle. While trying to use \book and \bookpart there seems to
be a significant, at least to me, problem. If I make a .ly file with a
simple include the include or multiple includes the score or scores
Hello Werner and All,
I have readen your article. Many thanks anyway. I didnt thought that
the TAB was the standard notation before our actual system.

you have to paste it to where lilypond can find it. That is not necessarily
the font directory of lilypond, but I think that is not a wrong place.
lilypond does not have frescobaldi in the search path.
As I read the original post, it's quite plausible that
