Hello,
This question is off topic, but I thought the posters to this newsgroup
might be able to help.
I am a bad multi-instrumentalist with a multi-track. I would like to
record accompainment grooves in various style to practice with (playing
all the instruments myself). Not only am I a bad mul

Christ,
That is a good idea. Would it be possible to incorporate the shape the
chord is based on as part of the name?

Bruce,
Thanks for the post. I have started working on a define file (see below)
that could be included to bring Lilypond's drumset notation more inline
with PAS standards. The file does everything I need at the moment (I am
a lousy drummer), but I may extend it in the future.

Hello,
I am attempting to update and improve the combo template for Lilypond
2.4.
I would like to do the following:
1. update syntax to 2.4
2. breakup template into separate files for each instrument with
score/header file to tie them all together.
3. use make and a makefile to automate creation

Hello,
I would like to define a custom drumset that is uses Percussive Arts
Society standards. I found the example below in the Lilypond

the fields. Mainly, I can not figure out how to define a drums position
on the staff.

I have posted it here hoping that it might be useful; if not I would be
interested in any comments, suggestions or criticisms. Wild praise and
adulation will be accepted as well (yeah right!!!).

Hello,
This is a very minor quibble, but I was wondering if there is a way to
center the staff name on a piano staff so that it appears centered
between the two staves.
Thanks,

all the templates needed for that score.
I was even thinking that maybe a Makefile could be used to automatically
produce all the parts.

Hello,
I am a newbie to lilypond and I am trying to make a template for a small
jazz/pop combo with four horns, guitar, piano, bass, and drums.
I have a pretty good start on the score (I am sure lilypond gurus with

Thanks,
