since I think Jan has made font files available corresponding to a number of
different releases. The files from the latest develpment release should
probably
work well with your installation, though.

I have Lilypond 1.7.17 installed via fink running on mac osx. However I have
no type 1 fonts. How can I get them along with the with accompanying
lilypond.map file?
