This has nothing to do with fonts, as Joram already said. The question

that's because the upper voice needs a dotted note head while the lower
doesn't.
You can force LilyPond to merge them anyway using \mergeDifferentlyDottedOn:

I would seem that lilypond doesn't like minor sixth chords. All my
guitar fretboards seem to be fine, but I get errors on all chords with a
minor sixth. Here's some of the code:

Here's the corresponding error complaining about the "m6"

This is done automagically for some bar types like "|." and ":|." but
not for "||". But I cannot find
Is there a way of forcing a downward line at the end of a second time

{ \repeat volta 2 {c c c c} \alternative { { c c c c} {c c c c} } \bar "||" c c
c c
}
can the second time bar be made to look like the first time bar, being

Thank you Thomas.Morley
So I have to copy this "source" ( in an include file .ily, for example ?
) in every source code , isn't it ?

Hi Michiel,
Use shorten-pait to taste.
%\once \override TupletBracket.positions = #'(3.1 . 3.4)
\once \override TupletBracket.shorten-pair = #'(0 . 0.5)
\tuplet 3/2 {

Hi there,
I've got some code here: http://lilybin.com/i5sop1/1
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to get the second and third tuplet
brackets in LH to be a bit further apart? They're very close together, I'd
like to inject a tiny little space, but I haven't been able to figure out
how.

I am intending to set a largish project, which is written for a small
orchestra, vocal soloist and narrator. The piece consists of a number
of short movements, and not all of the forces are required for every
movement. I have a pretty good idea of how I am going to manage the
input files for

Hi Richard,

I doubt it. It’s in the music functions list, not connected [in any way I can
see] to VoltaBracket.

Kieren.

Hi all,
I’ve been trying to debug this myself, to no avail. Is there someone out there
willing to have me send them (off-list) my entire \include tree, so that you
can help me find the source of this compile problem?
Thanks,
Kieren.

Hi,
just use the proper Unicode characters: ‘…’ “…”
Or whatever style you want: „…“ ‚…‘ »…« ›…‹ «…» ‹…›

Hi and thanks... something like writing " -- us et" , that appears as. I
would like it written as "de -- us_et" with the "horizontal comma" I find
often wrote.
