one trick that Mats has given to us, for Lily 2.4 on XP (what is your version
?) is :
if you have :
\bar |.
c4\ff
you can do :
\bar |.
s8 c4*3/4 \ff (see 5.1.10 of the lily doc)
for the c and its ff is moved a bit on the right.
Hope that helps !
Hi all,
Still one question though.
I tried Score.BarLine #'transparent = ##t, but that worked too well.
The repeat sign I wanted to show, didn't show, even when I set it to
false before \bar.
So I changed it into Staff.BarLine and disabled it just before the
repeat sign and enabling it

Hi list!
In the following snippet I would like to tweak the appereance of the ties
in order to avoid collision. I want to ask your opinion: is it better to
move to the other direction the middle tie, or just move a bit to the left
the two upper ties?
And in both cases, wich parameter I have to

Dear list,
Looking at the archives, this seems to have come up before, but I can't
seem to get a working solution. What is the best way to get the titles
of movements centred? At the moment I am using \book \score \header
{ piece = piece1} as outlined in the manual to seperate movements,
but of
When using RhythmicStaff with StaffGroup, the vertical spacing has to be
enlarged (with: \set Staff.minimumVerticalExtent = #'(...)).
But in combination with \repeat volta and \alternative, the boxes/lines for the
alternative parts are to high above (see attachment: Klatschduett.ly).
Does
When including Lilypond files with \repeat and \alternative in lilypond-book,
the numbering of the alternative boxes is missed (in contrast to normal
lilypond output).
Is there a workaround for that problem?
Regards?

Where did you get your Mandrake package? The LilyPond package is
missing a dependency. Please report this
