I have tried downloading this code as part of learning about scheme. Every way
I try is thwarted - I even down loaded the Git for
Windows stuff. I did manage to browse a file but cut and paste just produced
one long line and the download option does not work
which is a shame.
Thanks Mark that failed again using IE9 master cannot be downloaded but
worked using Chrome. Without me noticing a folder
structure was created in my downloads folder. No little cloud visible (or web
page) and the whole process happened without further
input.
Another quirk of IE9 to ponder...:)

volta repeats. You can let bars look like a volta repeat, but unless
you actually write \repeat volta 2 ..., the music is not a

The problem vanishes if the \tempo specification changed to 179 or
slower.
When I use LilyPond on the input you posted, the .midi file looks fine.
LilyPond uses 384 ticks per crotchet and sets the tick rate
based on the tempo. At 180 beats per minute, that would be a
70-kHz tick rate.
When

I have resoved this issue. The problem was in the Advanced Internet Options. I
had checked do not save encrypted pages to disc -
clear this and all is well. Does this leave one a bit more open to malicious
software though?

the snippets.pdf manual. I have been using it for
sometime and forgot its origin.
The trouble is that the Scheme code takes no account of the key signature so
that a gflat in transposed music can remain even if the

The algorithm for pitch change does not give correct results for all keys. A
correction is in work!

For the test only one music file conatined the 'trills 'expand tags. Do I need
to separate the keepWith and removeWith actions with
{} or ?
