Re: Mac OSX Sierra Compatibility
Hi Abraham, no issues for me here on macOS 10.12 (I'm actually on the Beta of 10.12.1), though I’m still using Lilypond 2.18.2. The only peculiarity I’ve seen is that the engraving status (while “compiling”) is now in French, but that hasn’t been a problem. – Colin > On Oct 4, 2016, at 8:47 AM, Abraham Leewrote: > > Greetings, all! > > With the recent release of Mac OSX Sierra (10.12), I was wondering if anyone > who has taken that upgrade has since found any substantial problems with > LilyPond and/or Frescobaldi? > > Thanks, > Abraham > ___ > lilypond-user mailing list > lilypond-user@gnu.org > https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user ___ lilypond-user mailing list lilypond-user@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user

Original-Nachricht Greetings, all! With the recent release of Mac OSX Sierra (10.12), I was wondering if anyone who has taken that upgrade has since found any substantial problems with LilyPond and/or Frescobaldi? Thanks, Abraham No problems here with both (LilyPond 2.19.46, Frescobaldi 2.19.0) Thomas ___ lilypond-user mailing list lilypond-user@gnu.org https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/lilypond-user

That's what I was hoping (I'm not on Mac, myself, so I couldn't confirm or deny anything). The reason I'm asking is because there has been some interest on Facebook and other sites since the other major apps were announcing their compatibility. I thought I'd make mention of LilyPond's state of affairs with the upgrade too. If anyone else has had any experience, good or bad, after upgrading to Sierra, please let me know soon if you would.
