Somewhere I read a blog post about their server being hacked and completely rebuilt in a new infrastructure. Obviously our uploads don't work anymore since then. The simplest solution might be to change to simply pointing all downloads to the lilypond.org server. I think we didn't do this in the past to lower the load on the server, but the new infrastructure might not see that as a problem. Well, at least currently it's the problem that the links point to a 404 error page. a) Who knows whether it is acceptable to permanently host the binaries on lilypond.org (somehow I doubt that is an option)? b) Who knows how much work it will be to get the hosting on linuxaudio.org to be working again? If either a) is the way to go or b) is suspect of taking more time (than say, a few days) we should temporarily update the links on the download page. Thank you very much. I subscribed to the list just for this question, after I entered an empty IRC channel. Spooky. Didn't know IRC still existed. :-) Maarten On 7 Feb 2018, at 16:22, Phil Holmes <m...@philholmes.net<mailto:m...@philholmes.net>> wrote: Available from http://lilypond.org/downloads/binaries/ currently. -- Phil Holmes - Original Message - From: Maarten van der Peet<mailto:maarten.van.der.p...@meertens.knaw.nl> To: lilypond-user@gnu.org<mailto:lilypond-user@gnu.org> Sent: Wednesday, February 07, 2018 9:42 AM Subject: LilyPond Downloads broken?
