I switched to another piece of code that was published a while ago,
where \key works. At least for the european standard keys.
It uses the turkish clef (the morrored flat) for half diminished instead
of the arab slashed flat.

I use makam.ly and found that
\key g \minor
does not work (no Glyph found ...)
Tried as a test
