(Undoubtedly, most of you won't remember me but for those of you old cronies
who may, hello!) Either way, I am back.
I have an MX project that uses the built-in method of creating custom MIAW
shapes. The syntax is as Colin
I use the same kind of code that Chuck posted. I also find this to be more
reliable than the doubleClick. However, I don't trap for double clicks
enough to speak with any authority.

I'm extremely tired, so I may be off here, but is there any reason why you
can't parse every attribute, after you get inside Director, to replace a
unique string with quotes?
Warning: The find and replace code can undoubtedly be optimized, and I
haven't tested this. (Like I said, I'm very tired.)

Sorry to use the F-word here, but I have an issue I've never had to
deal with before. Got a big CD ESL project, done in Dir, which the
client wants to port to Linux because Spain has decided to go with
Linux in schools and government offices. Dir doesn't support it, but
Flash does,

I know what you're going through, and share some of the same experience,
although not with Linux as the final platform. You can record in Flash if
you use the FlashComm Server, but I don't know of a strictly local solution.
You can print with Flash, even dynamic results. The two giant
