[Linphone-users] Error in Linphone installation (While Make)
Sir, I am facing a serious problem while installing Linphone-1.5.1. After ./configure when i try to make "make" i get the following error messages. It's powerfull system and some examples of integration with wx toolkit are listed in /usr/share/doc/gettext/examples/hello-c++-wxwidgets. I have also noticed a lack of audio levels in the configuration file for 1.5. 1.2 had *_lev= settings. The call is being made to the asterisk server (via ext), in the linphone 1.2 case it works. linphone 1.5 appears to connect, but not audio (I do hear a brief click). Simon, no way to configure mingw-based build so that it generates debug symbols compatible with MSVC? I have no cygwin installed on my box & no intention to install it (short in disk space). What about gettext? It's powerfull system and some examples of integration with wx toolkit are listed in /usr/share/doc/gettext/examples/hello-c++-wxwidgets. Hello, Linphone-wx has debug information but was compiled with gcc (mingw). It seems the gcc debug information is not recognized by MSVC debugger. You need to install mingw32 with gdb, and run linphone-wx.exe from gdb as on linux...
