Nicolas, (First of all, I’m not sure it’s convenient to post your log file on a public mailing list…) From your logs which I quickly looked at, it could be that there is a mismatch between AVPF settings between the client and the server. You may want to try disabling it. See the SIP 200 OK

Thomas, You can configure Linphone Android to run in the background by going to Settings -> Advanced and activating Background Mode. This isn’t available on iOS, though. A better approach is indeed to use push notifications and this can be achieved using the Flexisip Push Gateway. A

Andrej, All of this is captured in the following RFC: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc8599. Flexisip does precisely handle this; if you don’t use Flexisip you can implement it via Kamailio and TSILO, but it requires pretty good knowledge of how Kamailio, SIP and push notifications
