thanks for your statement. That makes me hope!

The mentioned SIP-Provider seems to config the service in a pretty 
special way - different from others.


Of course it's not worth the time to debug the logs from an outdated 
LinPhone version. Thank you for offering to do it for the current 
version. I already had the impression that this would be a complicated 
work wtching the size of the protocols.


I will try to generate new logs after installing the LinPhone Appimage 
and connect to a sip.linphone.org account like you suggest. This will 
take some time.

2. incoming calls cannot be accepted.
For both cases I have provided output from the debug window (anonymized):

I confronted the support at Deutsche Telefon with the matter. There 
they are only moderately cooperative. The logs would not show any 
reason, but probably the refresh period was set to 1800 and would be 
renewed half the time. I should set it to 3600 and check if the time

They also advised me to change the refresh from uas to uac. But I 
don't find this paramenter at all.


I would be very happy if LinPhone would run stable - even with the 
named service.

The latest linphone in Debian unstable now works here, although
there was a problem with icons which was traced to a library
dependency: see +https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=979139

I haven't checked whether the modified version has entered testing
just yet.

It is very different from the old version of linphone, but once you
get used to the new GUI it works. Here, at least.

10 day are gone and sadly I didn't get any further hints.
I gave Twinkle a try - just a few minutes later i had a working 
softphone with TNG but need to spend more efforts with Deutsche Telefon.
