I am a new user, I need help.
I am running Knoppix on my Hard drive. Everything seems to be working
well, as I have installed WSJT and it works correctly. Linrad was
downloaded and installed, and appears to be running
Here are my issues with Linrad:
1. Sound input and output do not work correctly. On most startups of
Linrad there is no sound at all except for a direct feed-through from
my TS2000 audio. The wave form in the upper window shows movement,
but the waterfall displays do nothing, and the S meter is at S0.
However, on rare occasions processed, delayed sound will start outputting.
2. On those rare occasions when sound is present, the S meter remains
at full scale at all times, and there is no way I can reduce it
except to turn my TS2000 audio all the way down. The waterfall
displays move VERY slowly, updating once every 1 minute and 25 seconds.
3. Using the volume control panel provided by the computer I am able
to enable or disable sound, but neither the line input nor the
microphone level is affected by moving the slider controls.
4, The Linrad windows do not line up properly. It is very difficult
to move a window line with my mouse, but on rare occasions I can grab
one of the border lines and move it. I cannot move the whole window at all.
Any help with solving these problems will be appreciated.
