Linrad-02.24 never opens the audio output and therefore
it runs fine with the Delta 44 as input. This was a bug
that I corrected by opening the output when the output
thread starts in 02-25.

I never use the Delta 44 for output, there is no need
to generate high speed output for a narrowband signal,
the Delta 44 uses the same speed in both directions.

As it turns out, the Delta 44 driver under Windows
does not work if the output is opened (and not written to)
before the input is opened. The read statement from the
A/D becomes blocked. (Under Linux it is OK.)

I have verified that the Windows device works if the output
is opened after data has been read from the input. Then
the input will not block. (I have not actually listened,
but since read and write run at the proper speeds
I assume everything is fine) I will make some changes
for the next version.

In the meantime I suggest you use some other soundcard
for the output. (This will be good anyway, the Delta 44
outputs are reserved for the transmit side and the
inputs on the cheap soundcard are for microphone and
rectified RF envelope input.)
