Not a bad idea, however we would have to make arrangements for a space. The two 
hours (plus) don’t quite allow for setup, work and teardown.

[OCLUG-Tech] Ideas for new year

Hi,
What do people think of the idea of having events that would be half hackathon 
half lecture. Something where people could show up and code in a relaxed, club 
house environment on a similar GNU/Linux themed project? 
I think it would probably have to be on a weekend because most people work and 
wouldn't have time in the evenings to travel to the location and then do any 
coding.
