Has anyone seen the symptom that when Linux Terminal server connects to a
system, it always fails on the first authentication attempt?
From the Linux system with IUCV ANY to systems with IUCV ALLOW, on the
first attempt, we get a login prompt and either root or non-root login
Is there any useful messages in syslog? They often have a clue about what
went wrong.

entry, but since it's an open bug I think we can wait for the fix.

I have setup my linux guests to work with a terminal server (on redhat
V5.6)...
I want my 3270 to be the preferred console (that is all messages should be
logged there).
I also want ot be able to login and work both from 3270 and iucv...
i did manage to get all messages logged on my 3270
