Hi group!
I have created an LVM on root root and about a month ago I expanded / resized
it using yast.
I formatted the DASD
CreAted the partition
Added the volume to vgroot
Expanded the LVM and finished.
Today I went to bring up the machine and it was complaining about lvroot that

Hi there
Is there anything special that needs to be done when cloning a redhat guest?
E.g I cloned a guest that has 3 disks which include some volume groups and at
some point after a reboot I get the below error which seems to me the device

Good morning all,
I was having a little debate yesterday and I want to get the experts on this
list opinions.
What's the best practice when it comes to the root directory?
Is it acceptable and recommend to create an vgroot and lvroot so it is
expandable?
Or is it recommended to have the
stall.

Hi all
Quick question.
If your traditional method of adding and extending LVMs is done by command
line and then you decide to add a volume and extend a specific logical volume
using YAST is there any implications?
Example
I created /usr/test with 10 GB using dasd fmt and the lvmextend
I found it. I had to register for updates.

Has anyone experience a slow YAST response?
For example, I am navigating through the partitioner and it is extremely
slow.
It takes a long time too load and a long time to do anything really.
Any suggestions?
