Can any one tell me where to get a version of vnc for Linux 390? I tried to
get it from Sine Nomine, realvnc, Linuxvm.org and Tightvnc. None of their
rpm source works on our Redhat 7.2 Linux390.
I tried to install Tightvnc from the site for s390. When I got the spec file
but coult not rpm -bb. I g
I followed the Oracle 9i installation instructions and installed the package
in Redhat 7.2 under VM. The Oracle system seems fine but the starter
database build process took ages and never ended. I have to terminate it
eventually. Looking at error$, it seems have problem with Java stuff.

When I export and echo a variable in a script, it display the correct
content such as "home/bin". When I finish the script, I echo the same
variable in the command line again, it display blank. How to make this
variable permanently exported through my login session.
Any attempt to run Oracle on Redhat instead of SuSe?
