How much storage do you have assigned to this LPAR? It looks like you're
using the SSH install method, and that requires the least amount of storage,
but I figured I should ask.

In any case, this looks like something you should take up with SUSE support.
It's blowing up in their code after all.

Subject: SuSE linux installation on zSeries - Yast terminates with signal 15

Hi all,

Greetings. We are installing SuSE linux enterprise server 8.0 for zSeries on
a z900 box in LPAR mode.
Everything is fine till we started using Yast to partition and install the
default packages.
Yast started reading from the CD1 directory ( FTP mode), 36%
completed.......suddenly yast terminates the installation with signal 15,
not even allowing me to capture the error message thrown on the putty
screen.

Following are the error messages from HMC :

User process fault : interruption code 0x020001
CPU : 0 Tainted : P
Process Y2base ( pid :1444, task = 0000000009ef8000, ksp = 0000000009efbb88
)

Received siagnal 15; terminating.

Anybody has any idea about this problem ?

Regards,
Srinivas.
