Hello all
I've tried building the new LV2 Amp from guitarix and the following error
is ocurring
/usr/bin/ld: default/libgxwmm/gxwmm/libgxwmm.a(controlparameter_83.o):
relocation R_X86_64_32 against `_ZTTN3Gxw16ControlParameterE' can not be
used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
now it built, but no sound coming out...
I opened using jalv.gtk and got the interface ok.
is there a possibility it built wrong, but with a sucess exit status?
one more thing
by what you've said, this LV2-amp comprises a 12ax7 tube amp + sovtek
tonestak + 4x12 cabinet.
would it be possible

mm, I don't think so, if you start jalv
Hi Hermann
I,ve built it with the LV2 plugins and it runs ok.
the only thing is jalv.gtk gives me following message when loading
Plugin: http://guitarix.sourceforge.net/plugins/gxamp#12ax7
UI: http://guitarix.sourceforge.net/plugins/gxamp#gui
JACK Name:GxAmplifier
MIDI
when running AmpVTS in JackRack I hear no difference when changing the amp
models. when plugging the Tonestack plugin the difference is perfectly
audible.
Something worng with AmpVTS?
kind regards and congratulations for the suite. CAPS are among my favourite
plugins.

Hello
I think the AutoFilter has something wrong.
Whatever settings I use it always yields the same low frequency sound, as
low pass filter. It happens even with the other mode - bandpass.
According to the webpage doc, in default settings it should work as a
AutoWah but it doesn't.
Any ideas?
That worked fine!!! Thanks!
One more thing. The new Cabinets have their gain limited to 0 dB.
The old ones had 24 dB as the upper limit, which was very practical, since
enabling the plugin would give me the tone improvement with a cost os some
atenuation which would be compensated with some
Great!
Thanks for your attention

The Guitarix pack keeps getting better and better. Congratulations for your
effort!!
I've been testing the LV2 plugins and a doub has arisen.
When loading the GXAmplifier with jalv.gtk I get the following message:
cabconv.update fail.
cabinet convolver disabled
.
We hope you all like what we are doing and we would love to discuss further
details with you.

In which way to you support/stimulate FLOSS LV2 plugins and/or proprietary

I wonder if this project will stimulate the development of FLOSS or
