Hi
Do you need an option to select a different
meter type than vu when starting meterbridge?
It would probably be nice. The VUs look good but they take up a fair amount
of real estate and trying to monitor 8 at once can be a bit tricky. In
addition, one can miss clipping with a VU
Yeah, it makes sense. I stole some code from meterbridge to convert from
linear to dB, and have just uploaded jack_capture V0.9.12, which also

Sounds good. Thanks for this - it should make some worthwhile features even

Changes and additions in FFADO 2.2
The FFADO project (www.ffado.org) announces the availability of a bugfix
version 2.2.1. This fixes a compilation error triggered when DEBUG is
disabled. This somehow eluded detection until after 2.2.0 was released.
The new version can be downloaded from:

As I said a year ago, it should also be possible to sniff the USB
connection, but this requires a device and a volunteer to do so. You'd
then run Windows in a VM and capture the USB packets with wireshark or
any other USB sniffer.

The FFADO project announces the availability of FFADO version 2.4.4.
This is a non-critical update. The only change since version 2.4.3 is the
disabling of the optional device registration dialog. The data gathered is
of peripheral value these days, making its ongoing collection unnecessary.
