sees the WWNs of the other server. You'd probably need one of the tools
that come with your HBAs to do this (e.g. "scli" for QLogic cards).

hing here. We run several master-
master LDAP clusters here--even with one replicating across the country
(California <--> Florida). Works fine.
That being said, as with most FOSS stuff, there's more than one way to
skin a mule. Do as you wish.

Hope this helps, it's just my experience though. As usual, mileage
may vary...

ly isn't any way around it.
My recommendation...get and install Cyrus IMAP and POP services, use
GFS and a good lock manager (e.g. DLM). That should work.
(And yes, I used to manage a system with about 75,000 active users and
over 2M mail accounts--I feel your pain).

We had to allow two-node clusters, so we made a special

hey cluster gurus..
I have a 2 node cluster thats been running without issue for quite a
while.. all of a sudden one of the nodes will not completely start the

when being started by clurgmgrd but not when started manually indicates
that clurgmgrd is starting it differently (specifying a different
httpd.conf file perhaps?).

As far as any other changes, the only thing that may go a bit weird is
the ARP tables on the systems since you've removed the hub/switch from
the signal path and the ARP table may retain the old HW addresses. I
don't think that'll be a problem.

anonuid and anongid are NFS _SERVER_ options, not client options.
They can be used in /etc/exports (server), but not on a mount command
or /etc/fstab entry (client).

rew with your locks, spew garbage (e.g. floodping) on
the wire and lots of other nefarious things. I'd keep it private.
If possible, I'd tend to keep it on its own VLAN as well. You really
only want cluster-centric traffic on those wires.

Technically, the VLAN, but if possible, I'd use the same switch. One
less thing to poop out.

LDAP is one solution, so's NIS/NIS+ (and a bit easier to set up IMHO).
